Kelley Suskie, MHSA

Kelley Suskie, received her Masters of Health Services Administration for the University of Arkansas, and is a Fellow of the American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE). Ms. Suskie has served as an academic pathology administrator for over two decades. She currently serves as the Vice Chair for Administration for the Pathology & Laboratory Department at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, New York. She has performed as a distinguished administrator over large and complex departments that involve personnel in many divisions spread over several sites. She has experience in managing a multi-million dollar budgets, residency education and staff and business development. She and her staff provide administrative support, including but not limited to, billing and coding, grant administration and accounting, purchasing, travel and human resources, for a large academic pathology community of faculty and staff. She co-directs an upper level residency rotation in the area of Laboratory Management.

In addition to her paid position, Ms. Suskie spends most of her free time volunteering for the medical group management and pathology national societies and organizations. She currently serves as the Immediate Past Chair of MGMA Certification Commission. In this role, she mentors other medical group administrators interested in furthering their professional development. She is a past Chair of the Pathology Department Administrators Section of the Association of Pathology Chairs (APC) and a past President of the Arkansas MGMA. She is past Secretary / Treasurer of the American Pathology Foundation.
